• Account data — name/username, email address, password (stored hashed), and account status.
• Billing data — purchase history, credit balance, and Stripe customer/payment references. Card details are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• Service data — URLs you upload, crawl results (including stored HTML), analysis reports, title/meta suggestions, and related job logs.
• Usage & technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and approximate location derived from IP, including via Google Analytics where enabled.
• Communications — messages you send via contact forms, email, or support.

3. How we use your data

• To create and manage your account, and provide the Signal Inspector service (crawl, analyse, title/meta tools, credits).
• To process payments and prevent fraud (via Stripe).
• To improve the product, fix errors, and keep the platform secure.
• To respond to sales and support enquiries.
• To measure site usage (analytics) and understand how the marketing site performs.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Legal bases under UK GDPR typically include: performance of a contract (providing the service you request), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, analytics), consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies/analytics where applicable), and legal obligation.

4. AI and third-party processing

Page analysis and title/meta generation may be processed using third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI). Content from pages you ask us to analyse, and related prompts/outputs, may be sent to those providers solely to deliver the service. Do not upload URLs or content you are not entitled to have processed.

5. Crawling websites

When you submit URLs, we fetch publicly reachable pages (or pages accessible with the information you provide) and may store HTML and derived reports in your account. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to request analysis of those URLs and that doing so does not breach applicable laws or third-party terms.

6. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, email delivery, and monitoring
• AI providers — to generate analysis and meta suggestions
• Analytics providers — e.g. Google Analytics
• Professional advisers or authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights

7. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law (such as standard contractual clauses), where applicable.
